Music is what matters most in Orfeo Music Festival. All concerts are free to public and our brilliant student participants often give up their summer employment to attend and are in need of considerable scholarship support. Your tax-deductible contribution to The Orfeo Music Festival will help educate and present in numerous public concerts many of the next generation world’s finest musicians. If you have not yet visited, we encourage you to come to Vipiteno and St. johann in the Italian and Austrian Alps and experience wonderfully inspired and joyous music making at our festival. Orfeo Festival depends upon the financial support of friends, foundations, alumni, and corporations to maintain its position as an important educational institution in the performing arts. Your contribution in any amount makes a difference. Orfeo Festival is a public charity exempt from income, gift, and estate taxes under the 501(c)(3) section of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Orfeo Music Festival offers several levels of giving:
Named Concert/Corporate Concert: $5,000 and above
• An Orfeo Music Festival Concert named in honor of the private or corporate donor; VIP seating for four at all festival concerts; invitation to all special receptions and dinners during festival; listing on all concert programs
Named Scholarship: $2,500
• A full scholarship for a student to attend Orfeo Music Festival named in honor of the private or corporate donor; VIP seating for four at all festival concerts; invitation to all special receptions and dinners during festival; listing on all concert programs
Director’s Circle: $2,000 and above
• VIP seating for four at all festival concerts; invitation to all special receptions and dinners during festival; listing on all concert programs
Benefactor: $1,000 and above
• VIP seating for two at all festival concerts; invitation to all special receptions and dinners during festival; listing on all concert programs
Patron: $500 and above
• invitation to a special reception and dinner during the festival; listing on all concert programs
Donor: $100 and above
• Listing on all concert programs
Friend: $50 and above
• Listing on all concert programs

Donate Stock
Many donors take advantage of donating appreciated securities to make charitable gifts. If the securities have been owned for more than a year, one can take a tax deduction based on the current market value of the stock and avoid any capital gain tax on the appreciation.
The easiest way to donate stock is to have the shares transferred electronically by your broker to The Orfeo Festival. The value of your gift will be the average of the high and low trading price on the day the stock is transferred to Orfeo.
